ENR is reporting that union painters in New York City finalized a collective bargaining agreement on May 3 that makes several wage, benefit and work-rule concessions to employers, a result contractor groups hope will set a pattern for other city pacts now being negotiated. The Associated Master Painters and Decorators  (AMPD) and DC21 have agreed to a one year settlement with a $1.25 rate increase. This increase is effective THURSDAY MAY 12, 2011 and NOT retroactive.

A tentative agreement has been reached with the Cement Masons. Details will be released when confirmed.

A tentative settlement has been reached with both the Operating Engineers (OE) and the Laborers.

Additional details will be given tomorrow.

There is a tentative one year settlement with the Carpenters.
